Graham Galadis Baladin is the main antagonist and the fifth/final boss in Caladrius.
History[]
The 12th King of the Baladin Kingdom. H was once praised as a wise and benevolent ruler.
Before turning 17, Graham suddenly ascended to the throne after the King's sudden death, and purged corrupt vassals and brought order to the castle. With the ardent support of his people, his beautiful queen gives birth to a prince, and the future seemed bright and secure.
But perhaps because he was so firm, the vassals from his late father's reign betrayed him, taking away all those precious to him. Disgusted by his own weakness, he seeks power no one will dare defy, a power that is supreme.
He incited a couple of young men from an alchemist village to steal the forbidden spell in turn for fame and power. Once the forbidden spell was in his hands, the King bestowed enormous wealth and status to the men as promised. Afterwards, he began to cover up what he had done. He decided that all of Paracelsus’ descendants who knew the existence of the forbidden spell were potential threats, and massacred every single one in the village. Then, he formed a new army using the forbidden spell, collecting the goods he needed from the people he once protected.
The Kingdom belonged to the King, and the King alone decided what to do with his people’s lives. No one dared to speak up to the insane King. The sight of people being sacrificed for the creation of weapons was no different from hell. Those weapons containing enormous numbers of human souls were stationed across the Kingdom, and peace quickly descended into terror.
The mad king smiled as he witnessed the horrors, as if he enjoyed his evil creations. As though he rejoiced the close of a bright era that seemed to have no end, and the beginning of endless darkness...
